Dave Chickering from Ohio
(distantly related to the famous Chickering Piano Factory of Boston, Mass ) learned of
this barbershop via the syndicated Pipedreams Radio Program of Minnesota Public Radio when Barber Wolf was again performing on "them" pipes via the US national airwaves.

Dave came to Valparaiso to celebrate the marriage of his daughter and son in law (Alumn of Valparaiso University), here somewhat in need of a clean trim for a second reception.
"before",
and now after the cut we had discussed.  A considerably shorter version was desired.

This is a standard regular American Haircut where sides are blended into the longer hair. The top hair was first shortened clipper over comb, then razor cut/blended. -

The beard was trimmed as well but intentionally left heavy at the "goatee" area for reasons of balance to the top front back combed waved hair.

Thanks to Dave for sharing this cut with the internet public and my clients
This time a cut outside the shop; namely on Barbershop Hanna's grounds where her breeder Rich Kinder lives.
Rich here before and in need of an adjustment to his style.

The cut was done next to a picnic table on a very hot Indiana day.
His large pond was a wonderful reward with swimming and fishing.

We caught a 27 inch, eight pound catfish and Rich cleaned it for me and my family to take home for dinner.

Nothing wrong with bardering, is there ??

business cut and beard trim.
Randy's horseshoe flattop, razor shaved sides, back and landing strip.
The Jessen Family of Valparaiso
Dennis Jessen with a regular, medium short cut, faded gradually.
Straight razor shaving around ears and neckline is standard with all cuts at Wolf's Barbershop
Scott returned to the flattop style sported some time ago
The squared out razor shaved neck line compliments the flat top hair.
Ryan opted for a clean, slicked down gentlemen's cut with sharp razor outlining and clipper short back hair faded up to his crown area.

This cut provides great flexibility in that it can be combed "formally",
- as photographed here-, spiky versions are inviting, and it can also be the rough finger combed version to the front, with or without flipped up front hair. An ideal cut for the "highschooler on the run", drawing attention to today's styling trends.  Picture this gentleman in a suit and bow tie !
The stunning look for Ryan Jessen
Matthew Jessen heard about the famous police style flattops from Wolf with razor shaved sides.  He asked for it and loved the cut and experience; relaxing indeed he mentioned.
Flat as a board and boxy as can be with his medium fine hair.
Final styling performed with Volumax freezing hairspray and light
blow-drying while holding hair up with the flattop comb.
Joey's cut is similar to Ryan's but here featured with the blinding sharp razor squared neckline and around ears.
His side hair was intentionally kept medium short for the benefit of more contrast in outlining.
A sporty, flexible cut with fashionable flipped up front hair.
Gene's sporty medium short cut.
